Oil Cooled Transformer

Oil filled transformers are fitted with conservators and breather device to avoid moisture and other impurities of the air to go inside transformer. The cooling of oil filled transformers is done by providing radiators of Elliptical Tube/Pressed Steel for efficient cooling. Transformers made are totally maintenance free, hermetically sealed & can be used in both indoor and in exposed, outdoor environment.

Power and Distribution Transformers

Two types of transformer are manufactured:

• Transformers with OFF-load tap changer
• Transformers with ON-load tap changer

Power and Distribution Transformers

Our works are equipped with all requisite transformer testing facilities for quality assurances. Each transformer is tested for all tests conforming to IS:1180 and IS:2026 by qualified and experienced engineers with precision grade instruments.

The tests involved are following:

• Measurement of insulation resistance.
• Measurement of voltage ratio.
• Check up of vector group and polarity.
• Induced over voltage test at double voltage and double frequency.
• Separate source high voltage test of HV side and LV side.
• Measurement of no load losses and magnetizing current.
• Measurement of load losses and impedance voltage.
• Measurement of zero sequence current.
• Measurement of HV winding and LV winding resistance.
• Measurement of temperature rise of winding and oil of transformers at full rated load.
• Pressure and vacuum testing of transformer for permanent deflection of body.
• Check up of dielectric strength of transformer oil.
